Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (IT Products) – East & West Africa

Location: Nairobi – With Frequent Travels

Salary; KES. 400,000 – 550,000

We are recruiting for a commercially strong and highly experienced Regional IT Sales Manager to lead sales growth across East and West Africa for a well-established IT distribution business.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for driving sales performance across all product lines, managing regional distributor channels, leading the sales team, monitoring market intelligence, and ensuring delivery of revenue, margin, and KPI targets across multiple territories.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a hands-on commercial operator with a strong background in technology distribution and proven ability to grow business across African markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive regional sales growth across East and West Africa
  • Manage performance of all product categories within the business
  • Develop and expand distributor, dealer, and reseller networks
  • Oversee in-country sales teams and coordinate with Dubai commercial operations
  • Drive achievement of revenue targets, gross margins, and commercial KPIs
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and sales performance reports
  • Gather and analyze competitor activity, pricing, and market opportunities
  • Support vendor/principal growth plans and execute market expansion strategies
  • Maintain strong commercial discipline around receivables, stock movement, and profitability

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' senior sales experience within IT distribution, office automation, imaging, printing, or related technology products
  • Proven exposure to recognized brands such as HP Inc., Epson, Canon, Brother Industries or similar
  • Strong regional or multi-country commercial management experience
  • Demonstrated success in channel development and distributor management
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting, budgeting, P&L management, and KPI reporting
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing sales teams
  • Highly analytical, performance-driven, and commercially aggressive
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region

Remuneration

A competitive executive package will be offered based on experience and track record.
